On the first day of the war, Arjuna asks Lord Krishna, his charioteer, to take the chariot between both the armies. On both the sides are family, friends, Gurus, elders, near and dear ones he has grown up with. Victory at the cost of the lives of his kinsmen drives a shudder through the brave warrior. He expresses his inability to fight and slay his kith and kin. Lord Krishna puts on the mantle of a Guru and counsels and guides Arjuna. The conversation between both of them is the Bhagavad Gita.
